This creeper grows rapidly and needs to be pruned regularly to keep it from growing wildly. It thrives in sunny weather. It is usually found in sea beaches where it slopes downwards towards a sand dune. It can tolerate salty air and salt water.
It is very decorative over fences and in dry corners of your garden.
