Hoya Carnosa

Hoya carnosa is a wax plant and is native to Eastern Asia. It has star-shaped flowers with a strong smell. Against the backdrop of deep green leaves, these light pink flowers make a cheerful contrast.

Additional Info

Hoya carnosa requires at least a morning of direct sunlight, or at least bright sunlight if it is indirect. Also, the fairly temperate weather is needed for it to grow well. It looks lovely in a trellis or hanging basket.

Each flower has 5 petals which are waxy to feel. The vines grow well if supported, at least by trees.
